Marija Bejkova is one of the founders of Familija Tangovi Skopje, an organization that has been thriving for13 years. In addition to being a teacher and events manager, she has been a dedicated tango DJ for a decade. Her DJ sets are known for their perfect balance between tender and strong beats, soft and powerful vocals, and dramatic and cheerful notes — a “recipe” she believes is key to keeping the ronda alive and moving. A carefully chosen alternative tanda is always a refreshing touch to her sets. Marija has DJed at numerous international events, including DIAs del Bandoneon Sofia, Kolashin Summer Tango Camps, Novi Sad Tango City Festival, and many others across the region.
