Emir Ljaljević is renowned for his exceptional musicality as a dancer, a quality that stems from his deep passion for tango music. Since beginning his dance journey many years ago, he has been exploring tango music and has been a resident DJ at local milongas for several years. Emir has also had the opportunity to DJ at events in Serbia, Bulgaria, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. His sets primarily feature tandas from the Golden Age of tango, with occasional additions of late music from Pugliese, Calo, and D'Arrienzo. He is especially noted for his careful selection of vals and milonga.
We invited Emir because we were captivated by his DJing at various milongas, especially “Todo es Amor” festival in Skopje. His music choices and cortinas practically flirted with the dancers, creating an irresistible connection on the dance floor. We couldn’t resist bringing that charm to our festival!
